Two young men aged 22 and 24 were killed in a motorcycle accident in the Kopay area in the early hours of May 5.

Police said the motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a wall along the Point Pedro–Jaffna road in Navatkadu.

Both the rider and the pillion passenger sustained critical injuries and were admitted to the Jaffna Hospital, where they later died.

The victims were residents of Nelliyadi. Kopay Police are conducting further investigations (Newswire)
