The bodies of all three students who went missing while bathing in the sea off Kalametiya, Hungama, on Saturday evening (30) were recovered this morning (31), police said.

Three school students aged 12, 17 and 18 were reported missing following the incident on Saturday evening.

The bodies were recovered following search operations conducted by personnel from the Police Lifesaving Unit in Tangalle, Sri Lanka Navy officers and local residents.

Police said the students involved in the incident were residents of the Hungama area. (NewsWire)
