Visiting President of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, arrived at the Parliament of Sri Lanka today (08). 

President To Lam was welcomed by the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka Jagath Wickramaratne. 

The President of Vietnam is currently in Sri Lanka on a State Visit from 07-08 May 2026.  

The visit takes place at the invitation of President Anura Kumara Disanayaka following his State Visit to Vietnam in 2025 to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Vietnam. (Newswire)
