Several Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026 franchises have announced squad changes, while tickets for the Play-Offs and Final at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo are now on sale.

Colombo Kaps have brought in Ashen Bandara as a replacement for the injured Kusal Mendis, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament.

Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud has also left Colombo Kaps to return home for national duty, with fellow Bangladeshi Ripon Mondol replacing him.

Meanwhile, Taskin Ahmed will not join the Jaffna Kings after being called up for Bangladesh national duty. Tawhid Hridoy has been named as his replacement and has already joined the squad.

Kandy Royals have signed Kavija Gamage to replace Vishen Halambage, who was ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with an injury.

Dambulla Sixers have also made an overseas change, with Afghanistan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi leaving for national duty. Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza has been signed as his replacement.
