Four members of the Sri Lanka Cricket Transformation Committee were officially handed their letters of appointment today, as the government moves ahead with reforms at Sri Lanka Cricket.

Those who received their appointment letters today are Sidath Wettimuny, Thushira Radella, Prakash Schaffter and Avanthi Colombage.

The committee, chaired by Eran Wickramaratne, consists of nine members in total, including Roshan Mahanama, Kumar Sangakkara, Upul Kumarapperuma and Dinal Philips.

The Ministry stated that several members had already received their appointment letters earlier, while two members — Mahanama and Sangakkara — are yet to receive theirs as they are currently overseas.

The committee has been tasked with overseeing administrative functions and driving structural reforms within Sri Lanka Cricket under the powers vested in the Minister by the Sports Act No. 25 of 1973. (Newswire)
