Cabinet approves SriLankan’s Dubai ground and cargo handling contracts to Dnata

The Cabinet has approved the awarding of ground and cargo handling contracts for SriLankan Airlines at Dubai International Airport to Dnata Company, at a combined estimated cost of AED 40.64 million.
The contracts have been awarded to Dnata Company following recommendations by the Bid Evaluation Committee and the Higher Level Procurement Committee.
Under the approval, the passenger and ground handling services contract has been awarded for three years from 01-04-2026 to 31-03-2029, at an estimated cost of AED 33.04 million.
A separate three-year contract for cargo handling services, valued at AED 7.6 million, will run from July 01-07-2026 to 30-06-2029.
The existing passenger handling agreement expired on March 31, 2026, while the current cargo agreement is due to expire on June 30, 2026. (Newswire)
