A motorcyclist has been arrested and remanded after a video showing dangerous riding without helmets circulated on social media, police said.

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday (29) by officers of Eravur Police after he was seen riding a motorcycle in a reckless manner with two pillion passengers not wearing helmets.

Investigations revealed the incident had taken place along Jinnah Cross Road within the Eravur police division.

The 24-year-old suspect, a resident of Meerakeni, Eravur, was produced before court on Thursday (30) and remanded until May 06. (Newswire)
