A total of 198 foreign nationals, including 173 Indians and 25 Nepalese, have been arrested in separate raids conducted in the Galle, Hikkaduwa and Midigama areas over alleged involvement in cyber crime activities, Police said.

The suspects were taken into custody during coordinated operations carried out by the Police in several locations in the Southern Province.

Police said further investigations are underway into the suspected cyber crime operations and the activities carried out by the arrested individuals. (NewsWire)
