SriLankan Airlines cancels several Middle East flights

SriLankan Airlines has announced the cancellation of several flights to Middle Eastern destinations, citing operational reasons.

According to the airline, flights UL231/UL232 between Colombo and Dubai will be cancelled on March 19 and 20, 2026.

Flights UL253/UL254 (Colombo–Dammam), UL217/UL218 (Colombo–Doha), and UL229/UL230 (Colombo–Kuwait) will remain cancelled until March 28, 2026.

Passengers have been advised to regularly check flight statuses via the airline’s official website and social media platforms for updates.

SriLankan Airlines also urged affected passengers to contact its Global Contact Centre or their respective travel agents for assistance.

The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused and thanked passengers for their understanding. (Newswire)
