Snickers officially launched in Sri Lanka with island-wide pop-up experience

Global chocolate brand Snickers has officially launched in Sri Lanka, marking Mars Incorporated’s latest entry into the country’s confectionery market.

To celebrate the launch, Snickers introduced a two-week travelling Snickers Pop-Up Experience and a social media challenge titled #SnickersOnWheels. The pop-up truck will visit key towns including Colombo, Negombo, Gampaha, Panadura, Moratuwa and Maharagama from October 17 to 30, featuring interactive games, giveaways, and merchandise.

The truck experience includes a claw-machine game, an AR filter booth under the theme #GrabASnickersSL, and a “Hunger Meter” punching challenge, while a Snickers-branded sports car will tour the island encouraging fans to spot, snap, and share using #SnickersOnWheels to win prizes.

Mars Incorporated, the parent company of Snickers, recently expanded its global chocolate portfolio to Sri Lanka with brands including M&M’s, Bounty, Twix, Mars, and Maltesers. The company said the campaign aims to create nationwide awareness and engagement as Snickers makes its official debut in the local market.
