School shoe voucher validity extended until March 15
The government has extended the validity period of school shoe vouchers issued for 2026 until March 15.
The vouchers, valued at Rs 3,000 each, were originally set to expire on Feb. 28.
The program covers selected school students as well as lay and ordained students studying at pirivenas and sil matha ashrams. The extension provides additional time for eligible students to purchase their school footwear. (NewsWire)
