Power issue in Court delays Ranil’s case

The verdict on former President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s bail application was delayed once again on Friday after a power cut disrupted proceedings at the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court, his lawyer said.
The court, which was expected to deliver its decision on whether to grant bail or remand Wickremesinghe, adjourned the hearing following the unexpected outage. The matter is scheduled to resume later in the day.
