Police lifeguards rescue French tourist from drowning
A French tourist was rescued from drowning at the Medilla Sea in Tangalle last evening.
According to the Police, the female tourist had been swept away by a current while sea bathing.
She was, however, rescued by Police Lifeguard officers on duty at the beach.
The rescued tourist is a 22-year-old French national. (Newswire)
