An individual has been injured after being shot by unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle in the Maligawatte area today.

According to the Police, the injured person has been identified as an employee of a spare parts shop in the area.

The Police said a T-56 firearm is reported to have been used to carry out the shooting. 

The injured individual has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital. (Newswire)
