One person has been reported dead in a shooting in the Hungama area in Ambalantota today. 

According to the Police, the shooting had occurred over a personal dispute in the Pittani Yaya area this afternoon. 

The deceased is a 32-year-old resident of Pingama, Pittani Yaya.

The 41-year-old suspect has been arrested after surrendering to the Police with the firearm.

The Hungama Police is conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
