The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has dismissed claims of cracks in the Randenigala and Rantambe reservoir dams.

Issuing a clarification, the DMC said no such risk has been observed or reported, and urged the public not to be misled by false information.

The DMC also appealed to social media users to refrain from sharing unverified posts that could cause unnecessary panic during a time of crisis. (Newswire)
