Three vessels carrying a total of 10,500 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LP Gas) are scheduled to arrive within the next eight days, Litro Gas Lanka Ltd. announced.
Litro Chairman Channa Gunawardena said the company is taking steps to ensure an uninterrupted supply of cooking gas across the country amid increased demand.
He said Litro typically releases about 1,100 metric tons of gas to the market each day but has increased daily distribution to around 1,500 metric tons to stabilize supply. (NewsWire)
