Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, widely regarded as one of the greatest vocalists in modern Indian music, has died at the age of 92.

She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after suffering cardiac and respiratory complications.

Indian media reported that she had been unwell for several months and was brought to the hospital in a critical condition, before being admitted to the ICU that night.
