Four people from Kiribathgoda are reported missing after being swept away while bathing in the Deduru Oya this afternoon, police said.

The group of five had reportedly been on a holiday outing when the incident occurred. One person was rescued, while search operations are underway to locate the remaining four with the assistance of the Navy and police divers.
