Fuel tanker carrying petrol and diesel begins unloading at Colombo Port

A fuel tanker carrying petrol and diesel has arrived at the Colombo Port on Tuesday (17), the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation said.
The Hong Kong-flagged vessel ‘Seafrontier’ delivered the consignment, which includes 17,000 metric tons of 92 octane petrol, 18,000 metric tons of diesel and 2,800 metric tons of super diesel.
Unloading operations began this morning at the Kerawalapitiya fuel storage facility, with part of the shipment later transferred via the Dolphin Jetty at the Colombo Port to the Kolonnawa storage complex. (NewsWire)
