Three Indian nationals, including two women, have been arrested with Kush drugs at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (Aug. 7), police said.
The suspects—a 42-year-old man and two women aged 22 and 43—were taken into custody during a pre-dawn raid conducted by officers from the Police Narcotics Bureau’s Airport Unit.
Police recovered 12 kilograms and 160 grams of Kush, a synthetic drug often smuggled for recreational use.
The suspects are currently being questioned, and further investigations are underway. (Newswire)
