The Parliamentary Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of four Ministry Secretaries.

The approval was granted when the Committee met in Parliament on March 20 under the chairmanship of  Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya.

Accordingly, the following appointments were approved by the committee:

• Air Vice Marshall H.S.S Thuyyacontha (Retd.) – Secretary to the Ministry of Defence
• L. Mohamed Navavi – Secretary to the Ministry of Science and Technology
• W.M.D.T Wickramasinghe – Secretary to the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs
• W.W.S Mangala – Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation (Newswire)
