The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar today (08), compared to Tuesday. 

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased from Rs. 311.72 to Rs. 311.53, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 319.25 to Rs. 318.97.

However, the Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, including Gulf currencies. (Newswire)
