The Cabinet has approved a proposal by the Minister of Health and Mass Media to invite expressions of interest and technical proposals from local manufacturers for the supply of medicines and medical supplies for 2026.
This follows the 2025 procurement process, in which 24 local manufacturers were selected to supply 130 types of medicines and medical items through agreements ending on December 31, 2025.
A new call will now be issued to continue local procurement into the next year. (Newswire)
