A male body was recovered from the sea off the coast of Colombo Port City, Police said.

The body was discovered by Colombo Harbour Police following information received about a corpse floating in the water.

Police identified the deceased as a 24-year-old resident of Valvettithurai.

Investigations have revealed that the man had attended a musical show held at Port City on Feb. 28.
