The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) today surpassed the 20,000-point mark for the first time in history.
According to the CSE, the milestone was achieved within just 10 minutes of the Colombo Stock Exchange opening for trading this morning.
The CSE reports that by that time, the recorded transaction turnover had exceeded Rs. 432 million. (Newswire)
