A joint operation based on intelligence received by the Sri Lanka Army Intelligence Unit led to the arrest of two suspects in Kiribathgoda on August 6, officials said.
The raid was carried out in coordination with the Special Operations Unit of the Sri Jayawardenepura Police, resulting in the seizure of 1.05 kilograms of hashish valued at approximately Rs. 7.75 million and 500 grams of kush.
Officers also recovered Rs. 1.25 million in cash suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking, along with a motorcycle, a digital scale, and a vacuum sealer.
