A special meeting has been called by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Parliament this morning to discuss the adverse weather situation, Leader of the House Minister Bimal Rathnayake informed Parliament today. 

All MPs representing districts affected by disasters have been summoned for the meeting, he said. 

Meanwhile, the Public Security Minister and officials from relevant departments will be dispatched to Kandy and other impacted areas, he added. (Newswire)
