A 46-year-old woman from Dematagoda, arrested for obstructing police duties and acting aggressively during a traffic law-enforcement incident, has been further remanded until November 10.

She was produced before the Gampaha Magistrate’s Court, which issued the extension order.

Police said the woman had continued to drive her car despite being ordered to stop for a traffic violation, leading to her arrest and subsequent remand. (Newswire)
