Police have launched an investigation into the suspicious death of a 27-year-old man whose body was discovered on Tuesday night (28) in the Kikiliyamana Reserve within the Nuwara Eliya Police Division.

The deceased, a resident of Shanthipura, Nuwara Eliya, had been reported missing since October 8. Following a tip-off, police located the body at the reserve, which is currently secured pending the magistrate’s examination.

Authorities are probing whether the death was due to natural causes or foul play. Nuwara Eliya Police are conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
