“You are talking like an idiot” : MP Archuna arrested by Police
Jaffna District MP Ramanathan Archchuna has been arrested by the Fort Police after arriving to provide a statement today (29).
According to the Police, MP Archchuna has been arrested for allegedly disturbing Police duty by forcibly parking his vehicle in front of the Fort Railway Station during a protest on 22 September.
At the time, MP Archchuna had scolded police officers on duty, saying, “You are talking like an idiot”, before driving off. (Newswire)
