Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment of Sri Lanka, Arun Hemachandra, held a telephone discussion with Ukraine’s Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the National Commission for UNESCO, Mariana Betsa, on Sept. 18.

The two officials discussed strengthening bilateral ties and reviewed recent cooperation in multilateral forums, including mutual support for UN body candidatures.

Hemachandra also briefed his counterpart on recent developments in Sri Lanka and reaffirmed interest in expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest. (Newswire)
