The wreckage of the bus that plunged into a precipice near Rawana Falls has been recovered, police said.

The wreckage will be handed over to the Government Analyst tomorrow (08) for further examination.

The accident, which occurred on Thursday night along the Ella–Wellawaya road, claimed the lives of 15 people and left several others injured. Authorities have already launched a detailed investigation into the incident. (Newswire)
