Three individuals have been reported dead in separate incidents in various parts of Sri Lanka on Tuesday, the Police said. 

A 46-year-old resident of Kelaniya was reported dead after being attacked with a sharp object in Peliyagoda. 

Investigations reveal that an argument between the victim and a group of persons had escalated, resulting in the death. 

The Peliyagoda Police is conducting investigations to apprehend the suspects involved in the murder.

Meanwhile, a 46-year-old resident of Kanagarayankulam has been found dead in a suspicious manner inside a canal near the Nedunkerny Town on the Nedunkerny – Mullaitivu Road. 

Investigations have found parts of a vehicle nearby, but the cause of death is yet to be ascertained. The Nedunkerny Police is conducting investigations. 

Furthermore, the unidentified body of a male has been found inside a house in the Vijayapuram area in Talaimannar.

Investigations have found that the individual had died a few days before. The Talaimannar Police is conducting investigations. (Newswire)
