The Cabinet has approved the launch of the Healthy Food – Happy Life National Media Mission, a health promotion program aimed at improving nutrition among Sri Lankans.

Health and Media Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said the initiative, jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Mass Media and the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation, will involve women, schoolchildren, public and private food security stakeholders, medical officers, nutritionists, public health inspectors, farmers, and chefs.

The program seeks to address rising food-related diseases and ensure adherence to legal food safety guidelines. (Newswire)
