Statement Regarding Media Reports on Alleged Accommodation of Outsiders at Presidential Residences

The reports published in certain media outlets alleging that outsiders have been accommodated at Presidential Residences are entirely false and misleading.

The claim that 3,089 individuals were accommodated at Presidential Residences across the country during 2025 is inaccurate. During the course of 2025, officers attached to the security services, the President’s Media and other official institutions were provided temporary accommodation, on various occasions, in other buildings located within the premises of the Presidential Residences solely to meet official operational requirements.

No individual was accommodated inside any Presidential Residence. The officers concerned stayed only in separate buildings within the respective premises and not in the Presidential Residences themselves.
