The Asian International School Alumni Association successfully hosted the inaugural Inter-International Alumni Netball Carnival 2026 on 23 May 2026, at the Air Force Indoor Basketball Court, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo.

The landmark tournament brought together distinguished alumni and elite netball talent from leading international schools across Sri Lanka and abroad for a day of high-intensity competition, sportsmanship, and alumni team spirit.

Emerging as tournament champions were Honey Badgers, a premier club side comprising top players from leading international schools and players from overseas. The Asian International School Alumni secured the runners-up position, while Lyceum International School Alumni claimed third place. Colombo International School and Royal Institute completed the standings in fourth and fifth place respectively.

The tournament also recognized outstanding individual performances:

• Netball Queen – Rushika Paulas (Honey Badgers)
• Best Defensive Player – Upeksha Narayana (Asian International School Alumni)
• Best Offensive Player – Risini Niriella (Honey Badgers)
• Most Improved Player – Nethmini Silva (Lyceum International School Alumni)
• Best Team Spirit – Royal Institute

The tournament was commended for its exceptional organization and strong focus on player welfare, professionalism, and overall experience. All matches were live-streamed, enabling supporters and audiences worldwide to witness the tournament and engage with the event remotely.
