CBSL Rates : USD buying & selling rates rise

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated significantly against the US Dollar today (29), compared to Wednesday, reporting a Rs. 4 jump in both buying and selling rates.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 320.40 to Rs. 324.45, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 330.81 to Rs. 334.24.
The Sri Lankan Rupee has also significantly depreciated against a basket of foreign currencies, including the Australian and Canadian Dollars, Euro, Sterling Pound and Swiss Franc.
In Gulf currencies, the Rupee has reported a significant depreciation against the Bahraini and Kuwaiti Dinar, the Oman Rial, and the UAE Dirham. (Newswire)
