Director General of the National Zoological Gardens Department, R. C. Rajapaksa, visited the Dehiwala National Zoo today to see the two newly born lion cubs.

The male and female lion cubs were born at the Dehiwala Zoo on December 24. During his visit, the Director General reviewed their growth and health conditions and also engaged in friendly conversations with visitors who had come to see the cubs.

The public can view the two cubs daily at the Dehiwala Zoo from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
