A 37-year-old foreign national has been arrested by Bambalapitiya Police with 50.410 grams of crystal methamphetamine (ICE) in his possession.

The arrest was made on the evening of August 1 in the St. Peter’s Lane area, based on a tip-off received by a team of officers from the Bambalapitiya Police.

Further investigations revealed that the suspect was residing in the country without a valid visa.

Bambalapitiya Police are conducting further inquiries. (Newswire)
