The press conference for the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 was held on Friday, 17th April 2026, at Embrax Colombo, officially announcing the return of one of the most anticipated traditions in a refreshed and meaningful format.
In response to the ongoing fuel challenges in the country, the organising committee has taken a progressive and environmentally conscious step by transforming the traditional vehicle parade into a more sustainable and engaging event. This year, the much loved tradition returns as the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026, promoting eco friendly practices while preserving its strong legacy.

The St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10 – Josephian Vehicle Parade Committee proudly announced the event, which will bring together Josephians, well wishers, and the wider community in a celebration of unity, tradition, and social responsibility.
Over the years, the Josephian Vehicle Parade has become a signature event, strengthening the bond between past and present Josephians while serving as a powerful platform to support worthy causes. This year’s cycle parade promises an energetic showcase of creativity, participation, and community spirit, alongside impactful fundraising and awareness initiatives.

CK Orbits – Dubai has come on board as the Main Sponsor for the event, while Soqka Batik joins as an Event Partner for 2026.
The Gold Sponsors for the event are IBFS (Pvt) Ltd, Dastol Motors Lanka, Kobra Energy Drink, Coco Varenda Restaurants, Mind Three Engineering (Pvt) Ltd, Master Mind Developers (Pvt) Ltd, Fortune Films, Scan Me, and Wickey Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd.

Through this collective effort, the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 will support the “Break the Silence” initiative, focusing on a Smart Board Donation Project for the School for the Deaf and Blind in Ratmalana. This project aims to enhance students’ learning experiences through modern technology, empowering young minds and creating lasting positive change.
More than just a parade, the Josephian Cycle Parade 2026 stands as a movement towards sustainability, unity, and social impact.
The organising committee extended its sincere gratitude to all sponsors, partners, and supporters for their invaluable contributions and expressed confidence in delivering a memorable and impactful event.
