Chilaw Plantations Company has reported a record pre-tax profit of Rs. 650 million for 2025, marking the highest profit in the company’s history.

The company, which operates under the Ministry of Plantation and Community Infrastructure, recorded a significant increase compared to its 2024 profit of Rs. 219 million, reflecting more than a threefold growth.

Chilaw Plantations also reported a record revenue of Rs. 1,594 million for 2025.

The announcement was made during the annual employee performance evaluation and incentive awards ceremony held under the theme “Winning Together – Valuing Commitment” at the Mikayla Resort in Chilaw.

From the profits earned, the company allocated Rs. 137 million for employee bonuses, benefiting 535 employees. The maximum incentive awarded to a worker amounted to Rs. 176,900.(Newswire)
