The Government Medical Officers’ Association is to end its 48-hour islandwide strike at 8.00 a.m. on Saturday (11).

The GMOA launched the token strike at 8.00 a.m. on Wednesday (09), alleging that the Health Ministry had violated agreements related to post-intern doctor appointments.

The association said it will decide on its future course of action following the Sinhala and Tamil New Year holiday period. (Newswire)
