The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that a 12‑hour water cut will take place today (06) for Homagama and surrounding areas (Zone No. 01).

In a notice, the Board said that the water cut for Padukka and the surrounding areas concluded at 8:00 am as the water supply resumed.

Accordingly, the Water Board noted that a 12‑hour water cut will be imposed in Homagama and surrounding areas from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm today.

The Water Board further said that, due to the prevailing dry weather, steps have been taken to limit the water supply. (Newswire)
