Islandwide GMOA Doctors’ Strike Continues Today

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) is continuing its islandwide token strike today, April 5, from 8 a.m., the association said.
The strike is scheduled to continue for 24 hours until 8 a.m. on Monday, April 6, following a decision taken by the GMOA executive committee.
Routine and outpatient services at hospitals are expected to be disrupted during the strike period, while emergency treatment services will continue without interruption.
The GMOA said the executive committee will review the situation daily and decide on further action based on developments. (Newswire)
