International DJ, Tom Monagle, has raised concerns over the increasing presence of Israeli nationals in Arugam Bay, Sri Lanka.

“I thought Arugam Bay was in Sri Lanka, but it looks like it’s in Tel Aviv, Israel. Was Arugam Bay promised to them 50,000 years ago?” he said, in a video shared on Instagram.

Sharing footage of various restaurants in the area, Tom Monagle pointed out the use of Hebrew language at many places instead of Sinhala or Tamil, with some places even displaying pro-Israel Defence Forces propaganda stickers. 

He also revealed that the Israelis were reportedly holding events in Arugam Bay, prohibiting locals. 

Tom Monagle called out the Sri Lankan Government, urging to to refrain from turning a blind eye to the situation.
