Former Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena, who was arrested by the Bribery Commission today, has been remanded until March 24.

Sajin Vass Gunawardena was remanded after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.

He was taken into custody by officials of the Bribery Commission after arriving to provide a statement in connection with charges of illegally earning assets worth Rs. 243.8 million during his tenure as a Member of Parliament. (Newswire)
