Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa stated that necessary measures will be taken in the near future to meet the expectations of cricket enthusiasts in Sri Lanka.

Addressing the post‑Cabinet media briefing today, Minister Jayatissa said that changes in law, administration, and other related areas will be introduced.

“You love cricket, I love cricket, a majority of our citizens love cricket, even the President loves cricket. Steps will be taken in the future to make changes in the sport of cricket, fulfilling the expectations of the people,” he added. (Newswire)
