Debris from Intercepted Drone causes Fire at Dubai’s iconic Burj Al Arab
Dubai authorities said a drone was intercepted over the emirate, with falling debris causing a minor fire on the outer façade of the Burj Al Arab.
In a statement, officials said Civil Defence teams responded immediately to the incident and quickly brought the fire under control. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The Burj Al Arab is one of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks, a sail-shaped luxury hotel that has become a global symbol of the city’s skyline.
