A youth who entered a chocolate shop in Galle was caught on CCTV stealing chocolates and fleeing the premises.

The footage shows the suspect attempting to leave with the stolen items while a female employee tries to stop him. 

Despite her efforts, the youth managed to break free and escape.

The incident, fully recorded on the shop’s CCTV cameras, is now under review. (Newswire)
